Service · Aluminium & Glazing
Aluminium and glazing.
Glass and aluminium that line up — office partitions, frameless screens, fire-rated glazing and doors, set out plumb and square so the lines hold across the whole run.
Overview
What this scope covers.
Glazing is unforgiving. Aluminium and glass have no tolerance for a wall that is out of plumb or a floor that falls away — the eye reads a glass line against the slab and the ceiling, and any drift shows immediately. Internal glazing is a setting-out trade before it is a glass trade, and getting the openings, head and base right is most of the job.
EDM Holdings installs internal aluminium and glazing systems: single and double-glazed office partitions, frameless glass screens, glass doors, and fire-rated glazed systems where the screen has to hold a rating. Because we also build the drywall and the openings around the glass, the head detail, the abutments and the junctions are coordinated as one scope rather than handed between trades.
We work from the structural floor levels and the partition setting-out, check openings before glass is ordered, and install to the system manufacturer's detail so warranties and ratings stand. Where glazing meets a fire compartment, we install the certified system to hold the rating and keep the documentation for inspection. Doors, ironmongery and seals are set up to work on day one and keep working.
The scope runs across commercial offices, healthcare, hospitality, retail and government across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain — meeting rooms and cellular offices, reception screens, clinical glazing, shopfronts and the internal face of curtain-wall interfaces. We deliver the glass line straight, level and square, finished and working.
Clients bring us in on glazing because the lines hold — openings checked before glass is ordered, systems installed to the tested detail, doors set up to keep working. On a glass partition that frames a boardroom or a reception, a clean, level run reads as quality long before anyone opens the specification.
Our capability
How we run the work.
Internal glazing lives or dies on setting-out, so we work from the floor levels and the partition lines, check every opening before glass is ordered, and allow for tolerance at the head where the building moves.
Systems are installed to the manufacturer's tested detail so the warranty and any fire rating stand, and the components are ordered against the specification rather than substituted. Doors, seals and ironmongery are set up to function from day one, and because the drywall around the glass is ours, the junctions are coordinated and clean.

Project delivery approach
From drawings to defects, one process.
Consultation
We start with your drawings, specification and programme — and give you a clear read on scope, sequence and the questions that need answering before anyone prices a rate.
Design coordination
We resolve the interfaces — services, structure, the trades either side of us — and check the build-up against the fire, acoustic and finish schedules before work begins.
Procurement
Materials and rated components are ordered against the specification, with lead times planned into the programme so the floor is never waiting on a delivery.
Site mobilisation
We set up to the main contractor's site rules, agree access and storage, and put the RAMS and permits in place so work starts cleanly.
Installation
The people who priced the job run it on site, working to line and level and checking the work as it goes in rather than after.
Quality assurance
Line, level, rating and finish are checked as the work proceeds and recorded, so the system stands up at inspection.
Handover
We hand over in sections, finished and ready for the following trade — clean, not nearly there.
Defects management
We close out snags quickly and stand behind the work after handover, because the relationship matters more than the single job.
Why clients work with us
What you actually get.
Programme certainty
Give us a date and we build to it. Our part of the job does not blow out the programme, and head contractors plan around that.
Commercial awareness
We price what is on the drawings and flag what is not. Variations are raised early and clearly, not saved for the final account.
Coordination capability
We run our work around the trades sharing the floor and the services overhead, so interfaces are resolved before they become delays.
Quality control
Checks happen as the work proceeds — line, level, rating, finish — so the standard is built in, not inspected in at the end.
Safety
We work to the main contractor's permit and RAMS regime, keep the area clean, and sequence around the people still using the building.
Responsiveness
A real person answers, prices come back quickly, and problems on site get a decision the same day.
Technical knowledge
We understand the systems we install — fire, acoustic, finish — and build them to perform, not just to look right.
Delivery experience
A delivered record across hospitals, government, hospitality and retail since 2010, on jobs that do not forgive a missed date.
